G'Day Guy's,
           First a bit later I will start a new thread in the wind forum about my 4Kw motor conversion which I made well over a decade ago and I have decided to get this project finished so data logging of all the variables will be my final goal.

So by simply putting  3x3 mm neo magnet on the rotor shaft can give the generator RPM and a cup style wind meter can be made to measure the wind speed.

Now as this will be a downwind turbine I will be putting on a disk brake and a electric/hydraulic setup will be designed and made.

Temperature of the motor and the surrounds can be logged and direction of the wind by using a sensor can be the start.

One or two 5 watt solar panels can charge the selected battery to power the brain and wifi will be needed for 2 jobs.

One will be the base station where the data logging can be stored and the other a live webpage where live data can be shown.
