An equivalent to the usual SMD socket used on the CMM2 etc. appears to be available on ebay under the part number PJ-328. They are physically identical and look ok. I have some here and they drop into the PCB exactly as intended. The diagram in the adverts shows pins 4 and 5 (the switch contacts) reversed, but I think that's only numbers. Usual 3.5mm Stereo Socket. Switchcraft 35RASMT4BHNTRX (RS 705-1490, Mouser 502-35RASMT4BHNTRX). EDIT: Just tested it and it behaves as expected. At less than 1UKP each these seem to be a good alternative. These are sold on ebay, sourced from China. They are also available from Amazon in the UK. Mine were on next day delivery. :) Edited 2023-02-20 04:41 by Mixtel90 Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
