Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I gather it basically provides SWD.

In case you have any of the many ST boards (NUCLEO or otherwise) I suspect you could use the break-off part.

Or of course any other SWD device.

(And OpenOCD...)

they're marketing it as

a) cheaper than most ARM debug probes;

b) secondary duty as a relatively inexpensive USB - TTL serial interface. Though I guess they haven't felt threatened by the CH343P, which is both cheap and good.

I haven't looked at current NUCLEO prices but the board + (SWD) debug were cheaper than this RPi tool.

hmm, USB-serial are soooo cheap!!

Still, there's a fair size market (maybe? OpenOCD isn't everyone's idea of fun, well maybe I mean whatever language they're tying to debug).
