Hello, after trying the latest version of picoMiteVGA (2023-03-07_001019_PicoMiteVGA) everything worked fine, but right after setting OPTION CPUSPEED 378000 the pico is dead, no blinkin onboard led and no connection via TeraTerm. I re-flashed the firmware to the official release on the geoff website and it is still dead. And yes, I looked in the manual on page 10 which suggest to clear the flash, but the link in the manual is broken (https://geoffg.net/Downloads/picomite/Clear_Flash.uf2) In the offical release on the geoff website is no clear flash firmware in the archieve... Would anybody please provide me a link to it? Greetings Daniel |

Thank you Michael, that worked. This is the first pico on which 378Mhz is not working... Flashed about 6 or so. Greetings Daniel |

It's *way* beyond specification for the RP2040. Don't be surprised if you get reliability issues at some point even if they appear to be working. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Hello Mick! You are right, I was not even expecting to go this far but since it worked on all my previous picos I thought: "why not?". Now I rather stick to 252000 (this works on this very pico!). Even 252Mhz is a HUGE improvement to the standard cpu speed. Greetings Daniel |

I flashed 4 picos and only one works with 378 MHZ. Sometimes ![]() Plasma |

I was curious and tested all my available picos and came up with: 15 tested in total, two of them were not able to clock as high as 378Mhz but all of them took the 252Mhz. So I think we should consider 378Mhz as a nice option if it works, but not think that things run perfect. I rather stick to 252Mhz :) Greetings Daniel Edited 2023-03-09 07:20 by Amnesie |
