Hi there

I'm hoping somebody has done some Modbus TCP work and can point me to a good source of understanding the implementation in the MMBasic environment, maybe even on a Webmite?

Running ModBusPal.jar on MacOSX and using the Web TCP Client commands at the Command prompt on the Webmite. The Webmite connects to the ModBus emulator but I can't get any response from the emulator. On ModBusPal console I keep seeing ArrayOutofBounds errors.

I'm hoping somebody has been down this road and can provide guidance.

do you talk about the protocol which runs at port 502 over tcp?

This ModBus query using WEB OPEN CLIENT "ip address", 502 has been resolved in WebMite 5.07.08b11 and functions with the ModBusPal.jar app.
