Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Ok, my second Solder Party 2350XL stamp running PicoMiteHDMI V6.00.02b11 seems to be running fine at 372Mhz and resoltion 1280. Oddly enough the HDMI signal at resolution 1024 seems less stable. This 2350 stamp module does not have PSRAM installed, don't know if that makes any difference in maximum overclock speed or not.
Not sure I can explain any of this??? It may be down to minor variations in the individual chips??? Perhaps it comes down to PLL stability? Or minor variations in the pin drivers?
We are overclocking these chips far beyond their guaranteed speed so I guess we can't really complain if they don't all work the same at 2-2.5x their advertised clock speed.
Overall, I see no really attractive features in these Solder Party modules other than the increased number of I/O available. So unless you really need the additional I/O and can't wait for a PicoMite 2350B reference design I wouldn't really recommend them for running the PicoMite firmware. @Sasquatch
Many thanks for that update. I went ahead and ordered a single XL unit yesterday along with more Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 modules.
The XL I’m waiting for is also without PSRAM as I want to get to as near as possible to the minimum required circuit.
And yes, I am after all available IO pins and the Pimoroni PGA modules I have here are not running beyond the default 640 @315000
