Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

OA47, out of curiosity what cutter do you use when milling the labels?
Do you also use the same cutter to machine your holes or do you change cutters?

Peter, I use a 1.5mm single flute upcut bit to do both the front panel and the labels. I have also been playing with white plastic for the panel, spraying it with matt black then cutting the labels from the front to use the white for lettering. I have been thinking of using clear and painting the back side before engraving the labelling from the back. This should allow for more durable panel and the ability to light from the back.
