@all
Hi,
when I query the disk size of an SD card for the first time after switching it on, it takes several seconds. At first I was afraid that the Pico had crashed.
I have now partitioned a 32GB card as 1GB and a 64GB card with 2GB (Minitool Partition Wizard) and formatted it as FAT32.
This means that the first retrieval of the disk size only takes a second.

Does anyone have any idea if this has any disadvantages? I don't expect that I will/should store more than 1GB on a card.
If anyone knows why it takes such an extremely long time to get the disk size for the first time, I would be happy to hear from you.

I also tried moving the partition to the end of the disk space. But that didn't work. The card was no longer recognized.

Regards
Michael
