Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Perhaps rephrase the question with a bit more detail.

"On a Grain Oriented Silicon Steel transformer core with a cross-section of X square millimeters and magnetic circuit length of Y millimeters, how many turns of wire will be needed for 1 Tesla at 240 volts and 50Hz?"

Replace X and Y with your measurements.

TBH it's not a well phrased question. If you'd asked how many turns were needed for a specific core to develop a flux density of 1 Tesla then you might have stood more chance. The key words are "flux density". You didn't specify what you were looking for.  :)

You will also need to specify any data that it will need to work with. If you are lucky and omit something it might prompt you for it.

AI is intelligence-free.
