While I certainly acknowledge the USEFULNESS of modern AI, I am worried about where this is taking us as a planet, and a species.

MANY movies of the past, have WARNED us SPECIFICALLY about this level of technology, and while "The Terminator" series of movies was - at the time - science-fiction, today, it is more of a case of science FACT, and NOT for the better IMHO.

KAOS theory now in practice.

Forgive me - having a few beers tonight for making it to 10k, so I might be rambling a bit!

Absolutely

Those of us who haven't fallen for the "just give them bread and circuses" (soaps, sports, reality TV, booze, gambling) are aware of this.

One that I haven't seen mentioned is "American Ultra". This is about the MK-Ultra program but the interesting thing is when the gubmint needed to isolate a town and keep people in their homes; they created a fake virus and they called it "Monkey Pox".

Sound familiar?

Of course, you realize "silico sapiens" is using our REPLs to train itself ???

GET BACK TO WORK YOU CARBON UNITS !!!
