Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Pico Computer 3.1 PCB, FW version 6.0301
Manual version for same FW version.

Manual, page 58, Utility PLAY commands.

I can't get PLAY NEXT or PLAY PREVIOUS to work.

Start a track playing with PLAY MP3 "01" - playback starts.
Try PLAY NEXT, and I get the message: "Last track is playing"
OK, so I then try PLAY PREVIOUS, and I get the message: "First track is playing"

So which is it?
I'm currently being told that the first AND the last track are playing.

Either way, I can't make MMBASIC play the next or previous track.

If I use PLAY STOP, that works - playback stops.
If I then try PLAY NEXT, I get the message: "Error : nothing to play"

Just for the purposes of experimentation, I tried PLAY VOLUME 50,50 and that works perfectly, so it is just the NEXT and PREVIOUS commands I can't get to work.
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

G'day Grogster,
If you have your music in a directory "B:\Music" use:
> play mp3 "b:\music\"

It will play all the MP3 files in that directory, and PLAY NEXT / PREVIOUS work as well

Haven't yet found a way to select multiple files to play in File Manager, or how to select the folder to play either.

Regards, Lyle.
