The problem with kits is that they are expensive by the time packing and postage are included. It is almost always much cheaper to buy the components locally and get a PCB made. You can do a Picomite build on a breadboard. There are several free PCB-based designs on here, contributed by forum members. All you need to do is source the components and order a PCB (usually from JLCPCB). Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini |

G'day Rolf, Silicon Chip magazine (Australia) sell a few kits for the PicoMite Backpacks they featured in the magazine in conjunction with Geoff Graham the creator of MMBasic. As Mick says, they are are reasonably priced for a kit and I don't think they make a lot on them, but with shipping to Germany its going to get expensive. Check out: Silicon Chip Magazine Search for mite or backpack in Kits / Parts sets I think they also had an agreement with EPE in the UK. Several members here also sell kits, links are at the top of the main page, if you let them know what you are after they will no doubt chime in. Welcome to the forum. Regards, Lyle. P.S. What is LAFVIN? something else I missed ![]() Edited 2026-10-15 02:10 by mozzie |
