Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Last year I made some changes to the design of the WIB PCB to incorporate an ICSP connection and add power to the serial connector. These were integrated into the artwork by Bob Barnes of RCS Radio. RCS has this version of the board as 3178C. I also found a cheaper ethernet socket part stocked by Farnell RJMG163217101NR was suitable. Another worthwhile change is to the CPU, a dsPIC33FJ128MC802-I/SP allowing expansion of the code.

I have a WIB and the biggest thing that I miss is digital in. Could the PIC32 be used in the WIB? using the same web interface, but with more I/O's!

I'm sure a DuinoMite with a UEXT MOD-ENC28J60 could be compiled to be a super WIB.
If the ethernet web server could run in the background with the basic program running to provide the processed data this would be ideal. The possibilities would be very good for logging and monitoring.
