APC magazine and DuinoMite. December edition of the "Australian Personal Computer" magazine has a picture of a DuinoMite-Mini on the cover, and a small story on page 39. The story by Darren Yates, provides a comparison of MINI PCs for under $100. I sent Darren a unit about 4 or 5 weeks ago. He gives the DM 7 out of 10, and for a comparison, gives the RPi 9 out of 10. He credits Geoff Graham as being the original designer of the MaxiMite, which he says the DM was cloned from. Darren also states that the GPIO has 10 pins. Last time I spoke to Geoff about this, he told me the DM was now able to use 15 pins with MM-Basic. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy the magazine just for this article, as it is very brief, however I did find other items that interested me in this issue. Don... https://www.dontronics.com |
