Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Yes, have type it at its command prompt, is say unknown command.

I am not sure how to use that command, the command might be need to be inserted in one of those Configuration text file , just like in window base config.sys

Maybe I will try to insert it in CONFIG.TXT, will try it tonight.

BTW....I am using DMBasic Build Date: Mar 19,2014

Thanks

DMBasic was a fork of MMBasic and, as far as I know, it did not have CONFIG COMPOSITE NTSC.

You can download the current version of MMBasic for the Duinomite which does support NTSC. However, be aware that there are some differences between it and DMBasic so you might have to change your program a little.

I hope this isn't an obvious suggestion; Did you tie the 12V and 5V power supplies grounds together? Otherwise you might have a differential in the ground voltages that can cause noise.

How do I set the Duinomite Mini to NTSC mode ?

Hi Lazy-b,

There is a SETUP menu which allows you to change many options including the PAL/NTSC..

Now I cannot remember off hand how to bring it up.. I think maybe SETTINGS or SETUP or CONFIG at the command prompt..

I lost a lot of data in a HDD crash last year and I fear that the manual was one of them.. I will scan my archives and see if I can find out how to bring the menu up.

PS. The best DMBasic version was 1.7, I think, but this will not likely ever be updated any further, or use Geoffs MMBasic version and this will be progressively updated.

I will post here if I can find it anywhere..

Regards,

Mick

Hi Lazy-b,

OK I found the manual and it is indeed SETUP at the command prompt..

I have a heap of firmware versions too that I found so if interested..

I think the best firmware that DMBasic had was this one

2015-03-27_072226_DMBasic-1-16c.zip

But there is one a month later that may not be as stable

2015-03-27_072307_DMBasic-2-16-2012.zip

I have the manual too but it is too big to post.. if you PM me your address I will send it too you. It is in ODT (which is a OPEN OFFICE Doc format)

Kind Regards,

Mick
