Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

it has been a useful learning exercise for us all. i've been working on a "micromite fixit guide" and your experience, along with that of others, have helped. the document will be quite short (just a few pages) but in it i hope to be able to present a set of steps to follow when things don't work, covering all the possible catches.
cheers,
rob :-)

I am just getting into experimenting with Microcontrollers and got one of the Micromite MK II pre programmed chips. I could not get it to work until I found this post. My usb to serial adapter had the the RX and TX reversed just like it points out in this post. This post has a lot of good info for a newbie. Now if I can just learn to program then I can do something with it
Thanks.
