All the parts I had ordered from eBay China finally arrived so I was able to start building the MuP boards I ordered from Mick a while back. Wonderful little boards to play uMite with! Perfect size, just the right amount of added support to the uMite and an overall great design. Thanks Mick! Your MuPs are happy in the states!! Rick PS - I'm sharing with some friends so maybe the MuP fever will be spreading!! |

Hi Mindrobots, Which version MuP do you have there? Out of curiosity, where in the U.S. are you? |

Hi Viscomjim and mindrobots, Glad you are happy with MuP I think they are pretty good little boards, but I am biased... ![]() Viscomjim, they are Ver 2. You can tell easilly by the extra jumpers along the bottom for I2c resistors and the header that midrobots is using (j12) for the console is not present on Ver 1. Hi Viscomjim, Have a read of my commercial post (Thread approved by Gizmo - Forum owner) MuP Ver2 For full details on MuP and what I have available.. If you wish to go ahead just PM me and I will answer your questions, regards, Mick EDIT*** I am expecting MuP-Test, an LED test board companion for MuP, to be delivered today (according to DHL email I just received) so pending satisfactory test build they will be available as of tomorrow, I will post when I have tested that the board does as expected. Hi Viscomjim, As Oldbitcollector said, NE Ohio. Medina, to be a bit more specific. And yes, they are version 2 boards as Mick pointed out. Not that I've done anything productive with it but it is a sweet little board! |

Nice to meet US uMite users. Good luck with those boards. I plan a getting a couple myself. I did get a pair of WhiteWizards 44 pin units and they have been busy. This uMite thing opened a can of worms for me as I keep playing and learning on a daily basis. Kind of addictive really. You should try hooking up some i2c stuff to that board like a RTC, LCD or port expander. Its cool when you set it up and things just work. |
