Has anyone found a terminal program (app) that has VT100 emulation for an ardroid through the USB port. I'd love to use my tablet instead of the PC but have not been able to find the app.

May work. Is USB only. I couldn't see direct reference to VT-100. Would need to download it and play with the settings a little I would think.

There is also a lite version (free) linked on the same page, by the same author.

May be worth spending a little time on.

Have an email away to the author, will report the result. I have downloaded numerous terminal programs from Google Play without finding any thing.

There's a challenge for some one.

Here is the reply from the developer :-


USB Serial Terminal Lite support dumb terminal only.
VT100 terminal limited features are supported in pro version.

Pro version recognize esc escape sequence, and support some escape
sequences(ESC[H, ESC[0n, ESC[5n, ESC[1J, ESC[2J).
Other control escape sequence will be ignored.

Am not at home at the moment so can not easily check if the few escape sequences will support the editor or not.
