I'm attempting to get MMEdit2 working this morning on a Linux (Mint) box. I'm seeing this error. MMEdit2: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeprint-2-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory My Googlefu isn't working this morning. Can someone assist? Thanks Jeff My Propeller/Micromite mini-computer project. |

I had a lot of problems with printing in Linux. I don't know enough about current Linux to know which dependencies are needed. I think you need the developer version of libgnomeprint2.2 Eventually, I gave up trying to print directly from MMEdit2 and instead open the file in your current text editor. That should remove all calls for anything to do with printing. This link might explain the problem http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=171751 I am not sure when I will be releasing an update for MMEdit2. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

I had something similar and yes installing something the -devel version fixed it. John |
