I got a VT100 board together. When plugged into VGA monitor (with or without MicroMite), I get "mode not supported" on the screen. At first I thought it was a message from the board, but now I'm thinking it's from the monitor itself .... Ideas ????? |

The monitor doesn't like the scan rate that the VT100 terminal uses. Some monitors only accept a limited range of scan rates. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

After adding the solder blob for VGA signal and the LED, the VT100 works (loopback and all) ![]() Still cannot reach the MicroMite though. It's intermittent at best. Best case I get the Basic splash screen, but keyboard doesn't echo. At times keyboard echos, but certain keys give weird results ........ Gettin' closer ............. |
