Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi folks.

This is an update to this thread.

Pretty much all who have got a PCB from me, have asked for a schematic.
I never bothered to draw one(the PCB was drawn straight out of my head, more or less) mainly as the board is just the VT100 and MicroMite circuits coupled together.

However, with just about everyone wanting one, I have drawn a schematic and built a small-ish ZIP file that anyone can download.

This file has the BOM(Bill Of Materials) for the VideoMite 1A, the GIF images of the top and bottom, some constructor notes - and the schematic!

The Zip also contains the GIF's(and schematic!) for the little BBPSU(Breadboard PSU) board that I tend to throw in with the Videomite for free, so that anyone who wants to assemble that board can now do so with ease.

Here is the link to the download:

It should also be noted, that it is vitally important that you use either a crystal insulator under the crystal, or mount the crystal slightly proud of the PCB, so that it's case does not short out the pads on the top-side of the PCB, which would prevent the VT100 side of things from working.Edited by Grogster 2015-01-22

I apologies to those who were expecting a schematic with the other docs I emailed at the time - I assumed that it was not really needed, being just the VT100 circuit and MicroMite circuits coupled together.

However, you know what they say about assumptions, right? (rhetorical)
