Prototype of 800x480 24bpp terminal based on Ray's shield. uMite SW is still under development but the basic functionality was tested. I'm considering to use it as uMite shield and a fully independent color terminal. Bo |

Hi Bohumil, What is `Rays Shield' That looks very interesting... But there is a `minor' bug in your program if the screen is supposed to look like that picture of the Penguins. ![]() Mick Mick's uMite Stuff can be found >>> HERE (Kindly hosted by Dontronics) <<< |

It is a prototype and if you squint your eyes just right, it is getting close to the penguins. A little tweaking is in order. |

Hi Mick, the right screen is here. The picture was used for testing because full WVGA resolution and 16M colors. The Ray's shield is there: http://www.rayslogic.com/Propeller/Products/DviGraphics/DVI. htm and I adopted it for WVGA and connect with uMite. The DVI shield has 8bit bus and 8080 set of control signals. It is fast, really fast. Price $US34 and free shipping in US. I also got the permission to manufacture my own board based on his design. My goal is design an Operator Graphic Console for one of my customers, but I'd like to share this design with others. Bo |
