I am making up one of Geoff's ASCII Video Terminal for a project I am building. I had planned to go to ITead or Seeed to get some boards made (using the Gerbers that Geoff has so kindly provided on his site) but I probably don't need 10 boards. Before I go down this path I was wondering if anyone had a spare board that they would be willing to sell?

I can send you a VideoMite PCB for US$5(+ postage - US$10 including) if you like. This is the Micromite and VT100 terminal all on one board.

You can read about it here.

Depends on if you only want the VT100.Edited by Grogster 2015-01-17

Hi Grant,

I have one, only, of Geoff's originals here if you want one $5AUS inc post in AUS although Grogster's might suit your application better...

PM me if interested.

Mick

Yes, Mick's may well be a better option - depends on if you just want the VT100, or a combo kind of thing!

Welcome to the forums, BTW.

Grogster,

Thanks for the offer but I only need a standalone VT100 terminal at this time (it is for an existing data logging system). I have read through the thread you referenced - it looks good and may be suitable for another application I have in mind so I will keep it in mind. Do you have a schematic for your board?

Mick,

I will PM you.

Thanks,

Grant

I never bothered with a schematic, simply cos the circuit is 99.9% just the VT100 circuit, connected to the MicroMite circuit.

However, pretty much everyone I have sent PCB's to, have all asked the same question, so I am in the process of drawing a schematic, and any new boards I make available will also come with the schematic.

So the short answer is yes, but not for a week or so, as it is not a high priority.

To anyone else reading this who has got a board from me, I will PM you once I have finished the drawing.
