Has anyone successfully interfaced the Sparkfun Venus GPS module with a Micromite. I am keen to use my existing Venus which was originally bought and interfaced with an Arduino (successfully). I'd like to enjoy the fun of MMBasic instead of fiddling with an unfamiliar language on the Arduino.
Senior?!  Whatever it says, I'm a complete and utter beginner...

That should not be hard. All you need is a serial port at 9600 baud. The MMBasic library has a demo program showing how to extract the data from the GPS data stream.
