Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

No need to feel indebted to me Mick - happy to flick them in your direction as part of the cause. Please let me know when they arrive.

Hey Grogs,

Your boards arrived yesterday.

I must say I am quite impressed with them now I have them in the flesh.. You certainly didn't `underarm bowl' me with them..

Thank you very much.

I must say though there was 70gm of PCBs and I guess near 30 gm of packaging (I threw them away too quickly) posted for $2NZ (about $1.97c AUS). A `letter' that weight would cost me $5Aus to send to you.. I could send 50gm or less for $2.95.. Just goes to show how AUSPOST is screwing us.. They are now, more often than not taking longer to ship interstate than overseas, from my experience.. Although BobD got his boards the day after I posted them but he is still the same state.

Thanks Again, I am about to order so 64pin 470's to try your board.

Mick

Thanks for letting me(and everyone else!) know that you got the boards.

$5 for a letter is a bit rough - we should be glad of our NZ Post prices then!

NZ Post too are doing odd things with the local post. You mail a letter here to the other side of town, and they truck it up to Christchurch, sort it, and truck it back down again to be delivered. They reckon it saves money doing it like that, but I fail to see the logic. They did lay off an entire NZ Post sorting staff, so I guess even with the truckie wages and diesel, it is still cheaper then paying people wages.

Such is life these days.

As the Skinny was your weapon of choice PCB wise, you should have been able to download the ZIP file of documents from the SkinnyMite thread, if you have not done so already, and that will give you all the details you need to build the boards.

Credit to you - it was TBS's very own bigmik who suggested I squeeze the PCB size to fit the 470 in as it is - and he was right.
