I had their email about this too yesterday and was going to post something about it (but lack of time prevented me. As soon as the email came in I took a look at what it was about - seemed like a KickStarter type concept; they had raised $800 in I think what was 19hours. Now they have $12,000+ in a day (target is $20,000). I was going to suggest a 'group of TBS' members head up a kickstarter - it has been 'jokingly' mentioned here a few times in various threads. If we come up with some idea then why not! With the brilliant work Geoff has done, along with the work of the two Peter's to give CFunctions and graphic displays I am sure we can collectively think of something 'unique' yet easy to achieve ![]() Comments . . . . |

Got that mail too yesterday. Well, that throws my project in the bin. I think i will give up on making some electronic modules. Once i have the idea and start working on it someone starts a kickstarter with the same or almost the same idea. And then for a price i can not even get the components for. Another few hundred bucks down the drain. With 'competitors' now on a global scale and mostly with good connections to chinese factories it is unwinnable. I better take my competitive nature to a local level. Microblocks. Build with logic. |
