Hi folks,

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to interface 12V PIR sensors to a *mite? Should they be fed to the base of a transistor that shorts a digital pin to ground perhaps?

Further, can you retain the added security of having a series resister for each chain of PIRs to detect tamper? Would that require analog input?

Hi David,

I have a PCB called MuP-Security that is designed for this (plugs into my MuP), however I still havent got any working code available to drive it.

But you may find a read of the manual might help you interfacing them...
