Hi

Has anyone a serial or i2c port camera working with mmbasic ?
I need to build my own security webcam .
I know an old smartphone will do the same but its no fun.

The OV7670 modules are cheap and the datasheets are readily available.
At 640x480 the file size is not TOO big to handle.

One of the items on my list of possible projects is a Micromite monitored mailbox. My thought is a sensor on the door of the box with a camera to take a snapshot of the inside the box to see if any mail has actually been left or been picked up. Then radio transfer the image to a Mite in the house. Why make the trip out to the box in the rain, snow or summer heat if there is nothing there.
