I miss some basic functionality there - Ctrl-something to delete a whole line, search and replace functions, Undo/Redo... http://rittle.org -------------- |

That is what MM Edit is for, the MicroMite editor is damn good for VT100 in a minimal memory footprint. I tried to write one in C, for the 250F based on my experience of using the Microite 170, I have no idea how Geoff managed to get it so compact yet so usable. http://caroper.blogspot.com/ |

That I do agree with. Especially on an interpretive language which makes it easy to test hardware by toggling pins from the command line. I spoke to Peter about that in another thread and apparently the next release of CFunctions will be able to run independently and still be active whilst at the prompt, so it will be possible to create a basic line editor function. http://caroper.blogspot.com/ |

You can do that in the latest version of MM Edit. You probably could create a macro for Teraterm - I will have to have a play. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
