I'm having trouble with the silicon chip usb serial driver it wont install on win7 64bit
I can see serial controller in device manager when i plug in the usb so i then right click update driver locate where the driver is and its unable to find it.

On the other laptop everything is running fine..

Any thoughts as to what the problem could be?

I don't have a W7 setup available now but it should install OK.
The driver worked for me on W7 64bit.

Are you sure that you are selecting the correct serial port to update the drivers?
Check device manager before plugging in the 'mite then again after.
