Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All,

Adafruit have released three Quick reference cards and made them available to the public to print for themselves.

Unfortunately they are in Adobe Illustrator format (which I don't have) but if someone is able to convert them to a high quality JPG they could be useful to someone.

The link to the originals is HERE

Here is a sample Preview of what they supposedly offer.

Regards,

Mick

We should just make one for us at TBS.

I'm willing to do the artwork (and exclude the useless pictures.)

Anything that we should add?

Hi All,

@CG,

Great Idea, I think we can create some nice little cards with some simple reference material for beginners (like me) but there are a heap of standard electronic things like these cards we could use as well. I saw the resistor colour code and Ohms law Pyramid and we can bring in a kirchoff's law and some AC rules..

If someone is prepared to do the artwork let's compile a list of ideas.

Some ideas I propose.

Simple Transistor NPN switch (and Fet equiv)
Simple Transistor PNP switch (and Fet equiv)
Capacitor laws (parallel/series)
Kirchoffs law
Ohms law

Regards,

Mick

I'm happy to help. I think this will be an ongoing project. I'll be a few days before I delve into it when I have free time. Please compile a list of ideas. I have some around here myself.

...converted with Online AI Viewer:

The original generated JPG's are very much better! You can convert the *.ai files with the link in my first post!

- "Drag & Drop Files" into the window, change to "High Resolution" and click on "View",
now you can save your JPG

It works very fine...
