I'm using a 100 pinner with V5.01 and trying to configure a SSD1963 display. At the command prompt I type OPTION LCDPANEL SSD1963 ,L and I get an error message of
INCORRECT ARGUMENT COUNT. If I also include the pin for the backlight I get the same message.
Where am I going wrong.
Paul.

Edit. Just read a little more and see I have the controller wrong.
Problem is I have a 3.2" display and it is not catered for.Edited by palcal 2016-03-27

I use a 3.2" Parallel display via one of matherp's drivers, and it works just fine.
But natively, yeah, I don't think you can go lower then 4.3" displays.

What chipset does your 3.2" display use?
My one is the ILI9325, but it is parallel.
Matherp wrote a driver for LCD's using this chipset.

@ Grogster
I have a 3.2" SSD1963 I have had it for a while but always used the ILI9341.
I am sure it was supported in an earlier version of MM

I've never seen a 3.2" ssd1963 and have never supported it. Geoff's firmware has certainly never supported it. They definitely exist but I can't find any details of the initialisation that would be required to configure the SSD1963 for this size display.

The SSD1963 controller is massive overkill for a 320x240 display given the amount of graphics memory it includes so I assume they are something of an anomaly compared to using the SSD1289 or ILI9341.

Thanks matherp, something I live by is NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING but I failed in assuming this display was SSD1963 I bought it over a year ago and when I checked my purchase it is indeed a SSD1289. I have just purchased a 4.3 display.
