I am over 2000km away from the shed for a few weeks and would like to modify some VB5 code I wrote years ago to make use of the MM features. As the install disks are still located in the shed, do I have any other options to be able to load the source, modify the program and re-compile into an executable? GM |

Just guessing, you could download the free version of VB Studio. It should open your VB5 source files, but will probably want to turn it into a .net project. Since Microsoft dropped VB6, my preferred BASIC platform has been Liberty Basic or its free version Just Basic http://www.justbasic.com/. Its different to VB5/6, but its pretty easy to learn and use.
