Had a little play about with defining a language in NotePad++ a little while ago. A bit of the colour code is working, numbers are working in certain instances. Subs, Functions & Do loops can be collaped. Can't figure how to handle IF statements yet though. To use it, go to Language - Define your Language & import the XML file. I don't want a replacement for MMedit, just somewhere to have other files open. Nice thing is NP++ will recognise when an open file has changed & ask if you want to reload it. Also attached some old code where you can see what works & what doesn't. Cheers Phil. 2016-07-05_103742_MMbasic_Language__File.zip 2016-07-05_103854_Ceiling_Heat_Controller.zip |

Aaah... I've been hoping for this to happen in a while. NP++ is my main editor. Thanks a lot! http://rittle.org -------------- |

Have a look under define your language at the "Folder & Defaults" tab. That's where I put "DO", "SUB" & "FUNCTION". Can't figure out how to setup IF though. Phil. |
