In the uMite manual (page 24) the supply voltage for the TSOP4838 is 5v. Reading the datasheet of the part (http://www.vishay.com/docs/82459/tsop48.pdf it states it can be used between 2.5v and 5v. Is there a reason why the manual has 5v as i would prefer to use 3.3v. Reliability, sensitivity? Reading more.. the sensitivity should not make any difference according a graph on page 4. Anyone experience with using it with 3.3v? Microblocks. Build with logic. |
