Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Myself and another forum member have been developing a specialised timing system which involves saving the results to SD Card. Occasionally the Error 4 = All root directory entries are taken , has been observed . This has occurred at a various number of folder/files, without seemingly being able to be re produced? Not with any logic we have been able to work out anyway. Can anyone explain the criteria for this error please, sorry if we have obviously missed the point.

I have seen that error just recently. I am using the SD card on the back of the 2.4" TFT display.

Turned out to be a faulty connector to those pins.

Thanks for that Rob, by the lack of other responses and our non conclusive experiences apart from yours being a connector problem sounds like perhaps the error could be generated by timing perhaps?
