Buried in the literature .. a Curiosity MZ EF board. Looks like the Click modules are in favor. Curiosity pic32MZ EF I am wondering if all the pins on the Click i/o are compulsory or not ? |

Not 'Compulsory'. However if you build a baseboard, such as the one you linked to, and dont provide all the specified pins, some of the Mikrobus modules that you migh want to plug in wont work and you loose the flexibility. Google 'MikroBus' These days the majority of companents are 3.3V, 5V only devices are not that common anymore. It would make sense to specify the PCB sockets as 3.3V logic, leaving to the designer to deal with any 5V logic modules. $50SAT is Silent but probably still working. I am wondering, if the footprint can be chopped down to one side only, eg to use it via a edge-on connector for say a clock plugin or similar. (with only using the pins on the one edge of course) |

You could do. But the Mikrobus boards are intended to be direct plug in to a breadboard as well. $50SAT is Silent but probably still working. For information on LoRa visit http://www.loratracker.uk/ |
