Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I am curious as to whether there is any impact on Bluetooth (BT) speed performance when applying the settings to pair BT modules. I will try to explain:
When pairing, you need to enter/select the 'network name' and then enter a 'code' (typically 0000 or 1234 on BT modules). Let's refer to these as NN (for network name) and C (for code). So if I set up my first exclusive connection between two devices I will use for example NN1 and C1 to complete pairing.
The question relates to setting up a second exclusive connection between two more devices which are within range of the first connected devices. Is it better to use NN1 but with a different code C2, or, use a new NN2 which could have any code (and possibly even be the same as C1)
Anyone use to using BlueTooth will hopefully have followed this
Thanks for anyone with any useful info regarding this! I am unfortunately not able to try the above at the moment (before someone says that I should!) and hence this post . . . .
