Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Could someone explain why, when a watchdog restart has occurred the clock, in my case, is reset to 19:00?
Micromite version 4.5D
Thanks in advance.

Do you have a RTC attached?
What date do you end up with?
What happens with a normal reset or power cycle?

Jim, I don't have a RTC connected to the chips, they get a synchronisation signal twice a day to keep on track. The date does not seem to change on watchdog reboot.
On normal power reset the TIME reverts to normal 12:00. I am still trying to locate the source of the watchdog reboot, my major suspicion is the 150 chips may be running out of memory.

After lots of head scratching it seems that the micromite isnt re-booting from the watchdog timer although it had done at sometime as the mm.watchdog variable was set to 1 and this led me to believe it was the culprit. It seems the chip is resetting due to an over voltage on one of the input pins. The issue of the clock reverting to 19:00 was caused by my code getting last state info from the var restore.

Hope my findings may help another "shedder" in the future.
