Hi,

Iam a big mod song fan and i need for an project a mod player with reading from sd card and so on.

is there a way ?

The Maximite would play MOD files but that feature never made its way into the Micromite.

Humm...

If I recall, you "play" a text file (ish), and tell a music synth IC what to do..?

Should be doable... (sweet).. What IC system could you get, and can we make kind of a "shield" for this, maybe as an Arduino style interface that some of the MM's have... Mix that with a touch panel interface, and you could store a library of "MOD" tunes on SD and have a nice player..

Gonna keep an eye on this one..

Edit: - But for the "A+" score, you would have to add the "MIDI" IN interface to run in slave mode -

yea the micromite + have enough ram (i hope) and an sd card , but no modplayer software .

he its christmas ! can i have a extra mmbasic version for this?
