@WW and Grogster Hi guy's, Neither of your website's list the MMX144 available in any form. I would like to purchase two kits, or 'ready made' assemblies, minus the displays. Any help would be appreciated. Well done Geoff, Peter and WW for your efforts. @Geoff and Peter Where are the 'donate' buttons ? With the miracles you guy's perform surely a 'donate' button isn't that hard. Regards, Mike B. There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't. |

Hi Mike. ![]() I believe that WW is going to offer a 144 of some sort. I think it is matherp's PCB, but WW is going to produce it and sell it - correct me if I am wrong WW. I have not designed a 144, as matherp and WW already have done one, so no point in me re-inventing the wheel, so to speak. ![]() I may find the need to design a 144 at some point, but right now things are very busy at work, so I don't have the time - right now. I will look into this some more when things calm down a little from what they are now. ![]() Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Thanks for the reply Grogs. I thought you were the Asia Pacific distributor for WW. I've been a bit out of touch, on the forum, lately and have been going through various posts re the MMX144. It sounded like it was a bit more advanced, in production, and ready for sale (kit or assembled). It sounds sensational and just what I'm looking for. Guess i'll just have to wait a bit longer. Worth it though. I noticed on WW's website that the PCB was available for pre order but didn't seem to provide any method to actually pre order. Never mind. With the time difference (UK and Oz) WW might wake up to this thread and shed a little more light on the matter. Hope you're fairing well after the earthquakes. Regards, Mike B. Hi MikeB, Simply drop me an email or PM and I will be able to sort you out with your MMX requirements. I have been extremely busy assembling what turned out to be 45 MMX144 units and at around 5hours each it has taken a lot of my time. The last thing I wanted to do was have a flood of more orders in before finishing all the pre-orders - hence I did not update the website with an ordering page. Most people seeing the 'available to pre-order' message simply contacted me directly to find out 'how' and this kept the quantity of additional orders low enough to manage. Also, EPE magazine here in UK has recently launched the 'standard' 28pin and 44pin MicroMite to it's readers. Today the original 28-pin BackPack article from SC magazine is being re-produced. So a lot of orders are coming in from EPE too. Only yesterday I added the BackPack kit. Currently awaiting the arrival of some more MMX PCBs - most of which have been sold already :-) I have a few remaining PCBs for the 100pin MMX and the 64pin MMX (from Peter's MMX portfolio page) which are available for immediate construction, but the 144 PCBs I estimate will be here in about a weeks time. Maybe hear from you soon . . . WW |

Hey WW..!! Just got in enough time after work to get to the store to get some female/female jumper wires to wire up and test the camera addon... ![]() So far this MMX-144 board is workin like a champ..!! This weekend will see more playtime, as I need to get started coding up a tabbed multiscreen GUI to test out... Will post the "naked" tab shell when complete... But first, I want a touch screen "picture taker" that saves the BMP shots to the SDcard..! ![]() Thanks to you and Peter, we seem to have a new "Power Toy"..!!! |

@Zonker Glad it was the 'tab shell' you were talking about. Thought we were going to get a second image for a moment. There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't. |

I'm curious, having just stumbled across this site & thread... I have one of the very early Maximite systems, and love it, and was hoping somebody would do a PIC32MZ port assuming they could tame the Harmony beast! Are there any chances in the near future of ordering one of the Extreme 144 boards? I've been to @WW's web site, where they are mentioned but can't find anywhere to order them. Cheers Martin PS: a bare board would be fine - I'm fairly good with a soldering iron, despite being the 'right'(!!) side of 50 and with declining eye sight... |

You 'is tops' - most interesting - thank you... I'll watch the MZ-DA thread with interest... I believe they are becoming available in quantity. I know a few folk at MCHP in the UK who are apps engineers... maybe there's something useful to be learned from them... |
