Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Thanks Paul and a Merry Christmas to all. For Christmas I have asked Santa for a 28-pin PDIP MX170 with 512K flash. I don't hold out much hope but fingers crossed!

As it happens I will be in Sydney (specifically Manly) for Christmas and a couple of weeks after. If there are any Shedders living nearby who would like to catch up let me know - we could compare notes over a coffee or beer.

Here's me adding my 2c worth of Merry Christmas.

I hope everyone has a great holiday. I myself have already paid for my Christmas Skip, and will be using the time for my annual clean-up.

Hey everyone

Glad to see the forum is well used. This year I moved the forum to a new server, installed SSL to give more security, and there have been no real problems as far as I know other than a few bugs here and there.

Myself I've been busy with work ( more like 50% work, 50% procrastinating ), not much time to play unfortunately. But next year will be different. See I make my living off a dozen ongoing licence payments for a software package I've been working on for over 10 years. My clients are happy, but I earn less than minimal wage, so its time to take the next step. Either sell more licences, or let it go and get a real job. Either way, next year will be the year it happens.

So wishing all forum members a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Merry Xmas everyone. May your currents flow only as desired and any smoke only be from the xmas pud.

@Gizmo

We have all seemed to have forgotten the very man that 'glues' this entire forum together. Thankyou so much for your efforts in enabling us to enjoy our passion for magic that is Geoff and Peter.
A safe, and happy, Christmas\New Years to you and yours.

Well, just in case anyone in the forums missed these, I thought I would re-post them.

Pardon my presumptuousness......

Merry Christmas to everyone from New York.

It has been unseasonably warm here but we finally have a little taste of winter. We expect small amounts of snow (< 2 inches at a time) with temperatures between 0°F and 20°F every day for the next ten days. It isn't really winter but it's a welcome change nevertheless.

This is what winter is supposed to look like.
