Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Peter,

Thanks for the great work - up and running on on my Extreme 144 and all seems well.

Cheers,
Doug.

... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it!

Hello,
I tryed to use this FW with Olimex PIC32-HMZ144 board.
After successful flashing nothing happened.
I see no oscillation on both crystals(I changed main crystal to 24 MHz).
I also tryed to supply external 24MHz clock with no result.

Finaly, I tryed to compile the source code with MPLAB X IDE 4.05 and XC32 1.44 and Harmony 2.05.
Got huge amount of errors of losted files.

Any ideas appreciated.

That board appears to use an ECG chip. MMX code will only run on EF chips (these have HW floating point). See the manual for valid chips.

You can only compile the code under an environment with Harmony 2.02b installed and all the directory references properly resolved.

So, I guess that PIC32-EMZ64 with PIC32MZ2048EFH064 will be OK.Edited by Kabron 2018-01-02

No - not really. It uses completely different pins for things like the SDcard to the MMX code. You would be much better with either a very simple board with all of the I/O available or one of the PCBs I've specifically designed.

See this thread and this thread for details. I don't make/supply them but you can get them off WhiteWizzard in various levels of completion or just bare boards - just send him a PM

Just flashed PIC32-EMZ64 with MMX645.04.09 and obtain console output.
After resoldering 3 SDCARD wires got SD working.
