I have the need to come up with a controller such as the Micromite Extreme either 100 pin or 144pin and was wondering if there is anyone in Oz that could sell me a PCB that would do the job. I have both 100 and 144 chips on hand. OA47 |

I have some of these if that would help. Not exactly what you want. PM me if you want one. I got my 100/144 PCBs from WW. TFT Backpack V1.3 Paul. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

Thanks Paul. I was angling down the road of VGA output which I believe is only available with the 100 and 144 pin PICs. I did look on Micromite.org but couldn't see the extreme PCBs. As usual I am in a bit of a hurry to test out a project so I thought I would see if there were any available here in Oz. Graeme P.S. By the date on my Forum screen it is already Oz Day |

OK If you don't need a TFT header I do have a spare SnadPic 100 pinner. No need for assembly. Paul. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

Hi Paul, is your board assembled with a PIC32MZ2048? Do you have the schematics for this board? Frank |

@ Frank, No, it is a MM+ board I didn't read Graeme's post properly, I do have an MZ2048 Breakout board that I have offered him. Paul. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

I have some smallish pcb's for 100 pin eg the 2048MZ, "sn-7x", they work ok at 200MHz. Slight difference from extreme pcb. message for details etc. Edit - My impression was, the original post listed MZ 2048, On re-reading it now specifies MM Extreme. (?) which obviously is a different request. I can offer some MZ2048 pcbs, basically self-powered breakouts with a usb-serial bridge, not MM specific. Sorry if that is exasperating. |

My requirements are approx. 60 I/O pins, heap of memory, support for a large monitor and keyboard. So I thought the Micromite Extreme would cover this and if I could find one of Peter's PCB's that would cover it. Sorry for the confusion Chronic but I was under the impression that the Micromite Extreme uses only the PIC32MZ2048EF chips. Regards OA47 |

I looked on WW's site but couldn't see the PCB's listed. As I am keen to get into this project, I thought I might save some time and hopefully source a board locally. If I can't ,I will have to get one thru WW/BigMik and be patient. OA47 |

If you PM WhiteWizard he will help you. He has not got them listed on his site yet. I guess they are a little more specialised and low volume for the work he has to do to get them on his site and then take queries about them. I ordered one of his MM eXtreme 100 type 1 (Black PCB) and MM eXtreme 144 boards by MatherP and they arrived in a very reasonable time. I don't recall if he has any faster (higher priced) shipping options. |
