Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Has anyone else noticed any circumstances under which the OPTION LIST command is missing any info?

In my case, I have noticed that the line which report the LCDPANEL info seems to be missing the currently-configured orientation. When I do an OPTION LIST (in MMX), the LCDPANEL line looks like this:

OPTION LCDPANEL ILI9341_16_BUFF, 98

Really, there should be a "P" showing after the driver name.

My setup: MMX v5.0414 on a PIC32MZ2048EFH100.

I must confess, contrary to my typical approach, I have not done Nth-degree debugging on this one. Instead, I thought it might be okay to make a short/quick posting this time to see if some "crowd sourced" debugging might bear more meaningful fruit.

If several of us issue OPTION LIST commands, and verify the output for correctness and completeness relative to our individual setups, it might reveal other unnoticed omissions which could all be addressed at once ... rather than our Dynamic Duo ( ) having to revisit the same section of code multiple times over a protracted period, chasing after one-zees and two-zees.

Cheers!

It is really useful having someone else 'stress test' the MMX

Keep doing what you're doing as it really helps Peter & Geoff squash things.
