Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello guys! This is my first post, so I'd like to say hi first of all! I just recently got a CGCOLORMAX2 and I've really been enjoying it. Today I sat down and decided to cut my teeth a little, and wrote my first complete program!

It's a very simply drawing program.
Here is a (low quality) photo of a (low quality) drawing I made:

While obviously not impressive, I had a lot of fun making the program, and I figured I might as well share it with you guys in case anyone wanted to play around with something like this. Here is a copy: 2018-07-18_145820_DRAW.zip

Features include:
-All of the Maximite's 8 colors in their full glory
-Music (Although I also included a version without, in case it gets old, or if you don't want to move stuff around on the A: drive)
-Full Screen and Etch-A-Sketch (for that authentic feel) drawing modes
-Different selectable brush sizes (although the bigger sized bleed over the edge sometimes, so be careful ;) ) as well as two brush speeds

Maybe someone with some potentiometers could wire them up to give the real feel of an Etch-A-Sketch!

Anyways, that's basically it! Try out the program if you'd like, and tell me what you think! Thanks for being an already helpful community, I couldn't have figured out some of this stuff if there weren't already posts on the forums about it :)

Cheers!

Welcome Jaxson,

Looks like a great first project, thanks for sharing on the "shed".

Don't be hesitant in asking questions - plenty of friendly folks here to assist. I might have to dig my old Maximite out and try your program

cheers,
panky
... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it!
