Don't entirely agree on some sentiments of the article but it is worth a read https://blog.hackster.io/the-piranha-an-arduino-mkr-like-board-with-a-32-bit-mips-processor-9287c6ac0df7 with the MX470@120MHz MMBasic could be a shoe-in and with SD card support and onboard 8266. Nice single piece processor. |

Nice, and good form factor, but pricey at $42 U.S. I like the ESP8266 on board for wifi. Only 512k flash, according to the article, so perhaps latest MMBasic would not shoehorn in. (Although I think the PIC32MX470F512L-120 is the same as the Explore-100.) PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |
