This has been available on the Pi for some time and will be interesting to see how this progresses on Rapberry Pi and similar linux SOCs.

Will also open up a huge potential to port genuine and very popular BBC Basic and possibly trimmed down version of RISC OS to other microcontrollers at the bare metal level.
