Hi, all who are interested in a functional TTS chip can now download an executable version for the MX150 and the MX170! Also the source code is ready. Dear Backsheders, here is our own S.A.M. Software Automatic Mouth Frank P.S.: Many thanks to Sebastian Macke and Peter Mather |

I have been watching that other thread, but not really having anything to add to the development of it, as I know zero C etc. You gents have done extremely good work over there, and I have downloaded the latest HEX, and will try it out later today if I get a chance. EDIT: I got a chance right now. I'm running it on a VideoMite PCB with a 170 chip. The singing demo (DEMO3) is particularly impressive. Nice work. Smoke makes things work. Amazing! ![]() Today I opened the refrigerator and tried to grab a left over piece of cake. A hand came out of the ice maker and slapped me on the wrist. Then Hawking's voice said, "NO! NOT TODAY! I've been talking to your scale." ![]() Grogs ... Does SAM have a german, aussie, london, or brooklyn accent? Paul in NY |

Definitely an American accent. As far as that can be established with SAM! Uncle SAM, perhaps? ![]() Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
