I am looking for something along the lines of Volume Logic which I used to use, but now does not seem to be available.

Do any members have any suggestions?

Perfectly happy to pay for it, if it works.
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Breakaway Audio Enhancer is the direct successor to Volume Logic. Unlike Volume Logic it's Windows only.

For a Mac there's something called Audio Hijack. It's really for capturing any audio but it can be setup to route your audio through an effects chain similar to Volume Logic. I don't know if it's still possible but at one time you could even get it to use the 32 bit Volume Logic as a plugin and apply it to the output of 64 bit iTunes
